1-night 2-day Fishing & Retreat Tour at Tanabe-Kumano Kodo
In this tour, you will enjoy fishing on the first day in Tanabe, Wakayama, and explore the Kumano Kodo on the second day.
On the first day, you will have approximately 6 hours of fishing on the recreational fishing boat, “SEA HORSE,” under the guidance of a skilled captain.
During dinner time, at the “Minshuku Chikatsuyu” where you will be staying, you can savor the fish you caught yourself.
On the second day, you will embark on a Kumano Kodo walking tour with a storyteller, culminating in a visit to Kumano Hongu Shrine.
After receiving the power of the sea the previous day, this tour allows you to retreat both mentally and physically by receiving the power of the mountains.

Tour schedule
First day
After all the participants have gathered, it will be ready to board.
As soon as the participants are ready, sailing & fishing start.
After returning to the port, we will head to “Minshuku Chikatsuyu” where we will stay.
After check-in, you have free time until dinner.
The menu is centered on the fish you caught yourself.
Free time after dinner. Going to bed.
Day 2
Breakfast is Western style.
Check out when you are ready. Move.
Walk the Kumano Kodo with a storyteller.
After visiting the shrine, you are free to disband.
